The Wonderful World Wall Hanging is hand-embroidered by artisans with our fair trade partner St. Mary's Mahila Shikshan Kendra using the Kathiawad technique which accents embroidery with small mirrors. Founded by the Dominican Sisters following the closure of textile mills in the area, St. Mary's has provided job opportunities for local women for over 40 years. The income women earn has helped to educate a generation of children, many of whom have become the first in their families to attend college. 36"wide x 24"high
